Burns Supper has been an important part of Scottish Culture for hundreds of years as a means of honouring our best-loved bard. On January 26th, the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice (DPLP) students at The University of Edinburgh, organised a night to celebrate the life and work of Robert Burns, in support of fundraising for The University of Edinburgh’s Free Legal Advice Centre.

McEwan Fraser Legal took the opportunity to become their main sponsors on the night. We are also proud to be volunteering with the Free Legal Advice Centre who delivers pro bono legal services to members of the public.

This gives Diploma students the opportunity to take part in hands-on legal work for the benefit of the wider community. As you can see by the photos, the students had a great time, everybody enjoyed a traditional Scottish 3-course dinner, followed by a Ceilidh, a raffle and an auction.
